This is a local opportunity to learn how to teach your students and train teachers about air quality and climate science in the Baltimore-Washington region during the 2026-2027 school year.

Become a Lead Teacher and join our Learning Community!

​

Clean Air Partners invites you to apply to become a Lead Teacher.

Here is what you will do–

 

Lead Teachers may be paid for--

​

  • attending a summer learning session 

  • during the school year--

    • teaching and providing feedback about one activity in your classroom

    • training your colleagues on one activity and collecting feedback from them

    • participating in regular but very brief check-in meetings and a debrief focus group

 

There are two activities per module that you will learn how to teach during the summer learning session.

Module 2: What's the Air Forecast?

Module 3: Air Pollution in the Community

Module 4: Air and the Chesapeake Bay

Module 5: Air and Climate Change
