This is a local opportunity to learn how to train teachers about air quality and the effects of climate change in the Baltimore-Washington region during the 2024-2025 school year.  

Become a Lead Teacher and join our Learning Community!

 

Clean Air Partners invites you to apply to become a Lead Teacher.

Here is what you will do–

 

Lead Teachers will be paid up $1,100 to--

  • attend a summer training to learn how to teach 10 On the Air activities

  • during the school year--

    • teach and provide feedback about one activity in your classroom

    • train your colleagues on one or more activities and collect feedback from them

    • participate in a regular but brief check-in meetings and a debrief focus group

 

There are two activities per module that you will learn how to teach. See below for access.

Module 1: Our Lungs, Our Air, Our Health

Module 2: What's the Air Forecast?

Module 3: Air Pollution in the Community

Module 4: Air and the Chesapeake Bay

Module 5: Air and Climate Change
